There are three primary ways for creating or working with videos in in Squigl:

  1. Build a Squigl Video from scratch
  2. Create a video from a PowerPoint
  3. Upload an external video (to add different interactivity options (such as quizzing, chaptering, etc.)

Build a Squigl Video from scratch

Starting with a message already written?  Or perhaps you have some ideas, but nothing formalized, and are ready to just start creating a video?  Then start by building a Squigl video from scratch using the first option provided.

After you click "Start" you will be taken through a series of steps to walk you through the process.  They can be summarized as follows:

  • Create a script
  • Create an audio track
  • Select from some additional options
  • Edit
  • Finalize
  • Share

It may seem like quite a few steps, but trust us, you'll be through them in no time!  And any video you create and finalize in Squigl can be edited later on.


Create a Video from PowerPoint

Are you starting with a PowerPoint or Apple Slides?

deck into an animated and dynamic whiteboard video.


Upload an External (or non-Squigl) Video

Upload a File
If you already have a video you've made, but you want to add quizzing or other interactive features, choose the "Upload My Own Video" option to build these features onto your existing content. The benefit of doing so, is that you will be able to gather analytics from your audience to help measure engagement. File types which are supported include: .mp4, .mov, or .webm
